Cutting board in pressed wood fiber This cutting board is made of high-pressure pressed wood fiber (cellulose), composed of approximately 50 layers of pine paper fiber combined with resin and compressed under extreme conditions. The material is formed at 220 °C and 3,000 tons of pressure, creating a very dense, dimensionally stable, and non-porous structure. Production takes place without the use of paint, wax, or glue. The layers are permanently bonded together solely through heat and pressure, resulting in a safe, durable, and hygienic material for food handling. The smooth, homogeneous surface is gentle on the knife's edge. Unlike plastic cutting boards, no deep grooves occur in the surface, and unlike traditional wood cutting boards, it does not crack or warp. The non-porous structure prevents liquids and bacteria from penetrating the material, contributing to high hygiene and easy cleaning. The cutting board measures 37 × 25.5 × 0.6 cm, a practical size that provides a good workspace without taking up unnecessary space on the kitchen counter. It is suitable for both professional kitchens and home use, is dishwasher safe, and withstands temperatures from –40 °C to +175 °C.
